Rossi is a former CEO of AXA Investment Managers and a member of AXA Group’s executive committee
A global manager of investment M&G recently announced that it has appointed Andrea Rossi as its chief executive director and executive director starting on Oct. 10.
Copen Grand top date attracted seven offers, including those from CSC Land Group and a joint bid from Sunway Development and Hoi Hup Realty.
Rossi succeeds John Foley, who in April announced that he was retiring within seven years from the position. Foley will be retiring as executive director and CEO on October 10, but will stay in M&G as an advisor until December 31 to ensure a smooth transition.
Rossi was the chief executive officer at AXA Investment Managers and a member of the Executive Committee for AXA Group for six years. He also held senior positions in AXA’s insurance division across Europe as well as internationally.
Recently, Rossi has been a senior advisor to Boston Consulting Group. Rossi will leave the role after his appointment as a director at M&G. He is co-founder of REsustain which is a company focused on reducing the carbon footprint of commercial property which is where he remains an executive director who is not a shareholder.
